YOKOTA AIR BASE, Tokyo, Japan - U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Miguel Gutierrez, a maintenance troubleshooter with Strike Fighter Squadron 27, signals an F-18E Super Hornet attached to Carrier Air Wing 5 for takeoff, after an annual Aircraft Arresting System certification at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Feb. 4, 2022. Marines and Sailors assigned to VFA-27 helped provide the necessary aircraft for the U.S. Air Force's 374th Civil Engineer Squadron to conduct the certification.
