MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - Robert Butterworth, then a military police officer in the National Guard, poses for a photo while deployed to Camp Cropper, Iraq where he ran convoy operations and security in 2008. Butterworth enlisted in the National Guard as a military police officer after 9/11, driven to make a difference, and now has served 4 years training service members at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni.
