Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan

MCAS Iwakuni is a mission-ready air station, capable of providing continuous base-operating support for tenant organizations and follow-on U.S. and allied forces during training, combat or contingency (HA/DR) operations throughout the Indo-Asia Pacific region.

Landis Lied, an embarkation and logistics specialist assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 122, plays Red Red Bob, a version of the game “tag”, with students at MacFarlane Primary School Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia, Sept.1, 2016. Invited by the school every iteration of Southern Frontier, a three week unit level training conducted by U.S. Marines  at Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal, Marines mentor, teach and provide role models to the students.
