MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (Nov.1, 2017) - A volunteer scares guests in a haunted house during the Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 171 haunted house fundraising event at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Oct. 30, 2017. The event raised money for the 242nd U.S. Marine Corps Birthday Ball and the squadron’s annual Christmas party, where they invite a local orphanage to come on station to attend. There were many attractions at the event such as a bounce house for smaller children, food and candy to eat, clothing items to buy, a fortune teller for guests to “learn their destiny” and a haunted house. Whether young, old, American or Japanese, this event united the community and provided festivities for all to enjoy. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Andrew L. Jones)
