MCAS Iwakuni Welcomes Special Olympians
Special Olympics Hiroshima came to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, to hold athletic competitions for children with learning disabilities and other mental handicaps Oct. 3, 2015. The Special Olympics helps spread awareness of people with special needs while giving them a chance to show their physical capabilities.
