MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - U.S. Navy Lt. Nick Diaz, a naval flight officer with Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 125, interacts with his kids upon returning to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Aug. 9, 2017. VAW-125 deployed aboard the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) for the first time with Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5. Deployments like these provide a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
