MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - Jacob Shadle, third baseman for the Iwakuni All Stars, prepares to bat during the Youth Sports’ Friendly Baseball Tournament at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Aug. 19, 2017. Although the Iwakuni All Stars did not come first, the tournament was still considered a success. Even those who played said the event was a worthwhile experience. Shadle said it was fun to play against Japanese teams because they don’t get the chance to play against each other very often. (U.S Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Carlos Jimenez)
