HARAMURA, Japan - U.S. Marines Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 171 prepare for a patrol in mission oriented protective posture (MOPP) gear during exercise Kamoshika Wrath at Haramura Maneuver Area, Japan, Oct. 3, 2017. The exercise allows Marines to test mission performance and meet training requirements by placing them in real-world scenarios. MOPP gear protected Marines from potentially dangerous gases as they conducted defensive measures and dug fighting holes during a simulated assault. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
