MCAS Iwakuni is a mission-ready air station, capable of providing continuous base-operating support for tenant organizations and follow-on U.S. and allied forces during training, combat or contingency (HA/DR) operations throughout the Indo-Asia Pacific region.

Marines and sailors from Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12, Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 115 and Strike::r::::n::Fighter 94 Squadron load bamboo sticks and other debris onto the bed of a pickup truck here at the Island Girl Power club Oct. 29. The IGP has worked in conjunction with service members to provide young girls an opportunity to see a more active role within their communities and combat may issues that girls many have in the region.
