February 14 U.S. - Japan Friendship Concert in Iwakuni
From 2 - 4:40 p.m. (Doors open at 1 p.m.)
At the concert hall, Shinfonia Iwakuni. The M.C. Perry Schools will perform with the local Japanese schools.

Akiyoshidai Wild Fire Festival
In the morning of the day, the mountain will be burning the field. THe rest area will be burned in the evening. The fire, standing up to 5 meters, and the 50 meters-width charactor made with fire will create a fantastic atomosphere at the Akiyoshidai. Starting to fire from 7:15 p.m. at the Akiyoshidai observatory and Mt. Wakatake area.

Saidaiji Eyou Hadaka Matsuri (Naked festival)
At the Saidaiji Kannon Temple, at 3-8-8, Saidaiji-naka, Higashi-ku, Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture.
The festival with 500 years tradition is one of the three rarest festivals in Japan. Thousands of naked men struggle for two holy sticks. those who win to get the holy sticks are believed to be the year's lucky men. The schedule is; Hadaka Matsuri with Children: 3:20 p.m.
Dance performance: 5:40 p.m.
Dram performance: 6:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
Fireworks: 7 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Main event (throwing holy sticks): 10 p.m.

March 22 Miyajima Kiyomori Festival 2015
1 - 3 p.m. This is to remember Kiyomori Taira who built the foundation of Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine. The procession with costumed as Kiyomori Taira and his family, starts from the area of the Miyajima pier, and end at the Kiyomori Shrine.
