GANNE MIWA-CHO, IWAKUNI CITY, YAMAGUCHI PREFECTURE, Japan - Cpl. Anthony Moniz, a clerk with Installations Personnel Administration Center at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, picks “Ganne-guri” an indigineous Japanese chestnut, during a chestnut picking trip in Ganne Miwa-cho, Iwakuni City, Oct. 22, 2015. Ganne-guri is covered in a spiked husk and has an agricultural history to Iwakuni city that dates back over 800 years. As the largest member of the chestnut family, Ganne-guri grows seasonally from early October to late November.
