GANNE MIWA-CHO, IWAKUNI CITY, YAMAGUCHI PREFECTURE, Japan - Residents of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, are given a cooking demonstration during a chestnut picking trip in Ganne Miwa-cho, Iwakuni City, Oct. 22, 2015. Participants learned how to make “kuri gohan,” or chestnut rice, boiled chestnuts and chestnut chips. “Ganne-guri,” the indigenous Japanese chestnut, is the largest member of the chestnut family and is an important ingredient during the autumn season.
