Lance Cpl. Raynaldo Olvera, from Dallas, TX., and Lance Cpl. Javan William, from the Virgin Islands, are thanked for their service by local Tinian children Nov. 11 after a Veterans Day and Marine Corps birthday ceremony at Tinian’s Historic North Field during Exercise Forager Fury II. Olvera and William showed the children the heavy equipment they operate and how exactly they will restore the air field. Olvera is a heavy equipment mechanic and William is a heavy equipment operator with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
