Introduction
Communication Strategy & Operations (COMMSTRAT) provides for the timely and accurate information and messaging to our internal and external audiences, about our defense roles and obligations, and generating public awareness of our organization’s capabilities, global interactions and mission-related activities.
Coverage
To have a correspondent cover your event, send the information to COMMSTRAT via e-mail (iwakuni.commstrat@usmc.mil). All submissions will be screened for editorial content and clarity. In order to provide the best service, we recommend submission at least two weeks prior to your event.
Photography Studio
The Photography Studio is providing services of Government passport photo, Tattoo photo, PT 360, Official Command board photo and biography photo, via scheduled appointment only.
You must request us through "Book Appointment" at least 48 hours prior to your requested appointment time. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If you have a special need or request, email us at iwakuni.commstrat@usmc.mil and we will see how we can help.
We are not accepting walk-ins or appointment over the phone.
Show up 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
If able, have someone accompany you who can inspect/adjust your uniform.
Graphics and Reproduction
The Combat Graphics and Reproduction section supports establishments with digital art graphics, layout and design posters, reproduction printed products, interactive multimedia-based products and illustrative designs. To request, contact the Graphics and Reproduction section through phone at 253-6835 and follow up with an in-person consultation.
