MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Jorge Cedeńo-Tulloch, the sergeant major of Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, gives a speech during an appointment ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, on August 4, 2021. An appointment ceremony is held to signify the acceptance of authority by the oncoming sergeant major. As the squadron’s senior enlisted Marine, Cedeńo-Tulloch is responsible for overseeing the well-being of personnel, and providing guidance to the commanding officer regarding the squadron’s capabilities.
