MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (Aug. 17, 2022) U.S. Navy Lt. Van Den Berg, an F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot assigned to Carrier Air Wing 5, reunites with his family after returning to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, August 17, 2022. The air wing's return marked the completion of their most recent deployment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), where they provided airpower to protect U.S. forces and allies as they flew missions in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
