MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Kenneth Jacob, an ordnance chief with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 (VMFA 121), 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, and a native of Ohio, and a Japanese participant, complete the 12k bike ride portion of the 36th Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Sprint Triathlon at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, April 13, 2025. The triathlon included a 350-meter swim, 12-kilometer bike ride, and 4.5-kilometer run, and was held to strengthen relationships between U.S. and Japanese personnel through friendly competition.
