MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - U.S. Navy Aviation Ordnanceman Petty Officer 3rd Class Ivania Gomezdiaz with Expeditionary Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 135, and a native of Lempira, Honduras, refuels an EA-18G Growler aircraft assigned to VAQ-135, Carrier Air Wing 11, Carrier Strike Group 9, after a bilateral training exercise at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Nov. 14, 2025. VAQ-135 took part in a bilateral training exercise with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force to practice maritime employment and strengthen interoperability between U.S. and Japanese forces.
