MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Capt. Toshinari Kawabata, center, commander of Air Rescue Squadron (ARS) 71, Fleet Air Wing 31, gives a speech to JMSDF Sailors with ARS-71 during the 50th year anniversary ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, July 17, 2026.
