Col. Michael A. O'Halloran, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni commanding officer, and John Iwaniec, Marine Corps Community Services director, cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the new indoor paintball range located down the street from the Soba Shop here Dec. 26. Field hours run 5 to 10 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Saturday, Sunday and holiday. Unit and child physical training is available every Monday through Friday with reservations made at least one week in advance. The range offers paintball packages at $22 or $15 for unit physical training and $12 for children under 18 physical training. Packages include a paintball gun, mask, 200 rounds, tank rental, field fee and all day air. For those not needing everything, the range offers a la carte prices of a $10 field fee, $3 for all day air, $15 for 500 rounds and $60 for 2000 rounds.
