Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 115 walk away from the aircraft after arriving at the Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Air Terminal here Sept. 1 as part of the Unit Deployment Program. The UDP is a six-month deployment which sends various squadrons throughout the region to bolster their combat readiness through combat exercises and simulations. VMFA-115, also known as the Silver Eagles, is based out of MCAS Beaufort, S.C.
