Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni will host a media opportunity on Thursday, May 4, to give media a sneak peak of what spectators can expect to see the following day at the 41st annual JMSDF/MCAS Iwakuni Friendship Day.

Approved media representatives will have the chance to view a portion of the rehearsal day air show performances and have the opportunity to interview pilots who will be supporting Friendship Day.

Interested media may sign up by sending an email to the MCAS Iwakuni Public Affairs Office (iwakuni.pao@usmc.mil) by 8:00 a.m. on Monday, May 1st. Please include your full name, media agency, cell phone number, current address and date of birth. Interested media who have not attended a media event at MCAS Iwakuni within the past six months must submit source documentation providing proof of legitimate media employment and credentials. A follow-up phone call to 0827-79-5551 is required in order to confirm our receipt of your email submission. The MCAS Iwakuni Public Affairs Office reserves the right to deny media-specific access/offerings to non-media personnel.
