Media Advisory ("Sound of Freedom" campaign)

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni will host a brief media opportunity on Friday, June 1 to give media the chance to cover Col. Richard F. Fuerst's opening remarks during the air station's first ever "Sound of Freedom" campaign.

The "Sound of Freedom" campaign is MCAS Iwakuni's initiative to familiarize local officials and attendees on MCAS Iwakuni base affairs and enhance their understanding of what MCAS Iwakuni's mission is and how it supports the US's obligation under the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security.

Interested media may sign up by sending an email to MCAS Iwakuni Communication Strategy and Operations (iwakuni.pao@usmc.mil) by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31. Please include your full name, media agency, cell phone number, current address and date of birth. Interested and approved media will be picked up at the City Hall main entrance on Friday, June 1 at 10:20 a.m.
