The 43rd annual JMSDF/MCAS Iwakuni Friendship Day, which is scheduled to be on Sunday, May 5, is a few weeks ahead. This release provides updated information before the open house celebration.

BLUE IMPULSE

Japan Air Self Defense Force announced the participation of Blue Impulse, the JASDF special aerobatic demonstration team, is called off. All inquiries about Blue Impulse should be referred to the JASDF Air Staff Office Public Relations.

GATE HOURS FOR TOUR BUSES

The gate hours for commercial tour buses has been updated. The C-Gate will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. for large-size tour buses only. Tour buses may come aboard the pre-staging area inside the C-Gate at 6:00 a.m., however, passengers are required to stay inside their bus until the gate opens and buses are allowed to proceed at 7:00 a.m. After 1:00 p.m., all inbound tour bus traffic at the C-Gate will cease and the C-Gate will be utilized for outbound tour bus traffic only.
