MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan -- In an abundance of caution taken in order to protect the health and safety of the Air Station and local Iwakuni community, MCAS Iwakuni and JMSDF FAW-31 have mutually decided to cancel Friendship Day 2020 due to concerns over COVID-19.
We greatly value our friendship with the City of Iwakuni and our host nation. Despite cancellation this year, we look forward to welcoming our local community and greater-Japan for future Friendship Days.
