Within the last 24 hours, three (3) individuals at MCAS Iwakuni have tested positive for COVID-19. These individuals were not new arrivals to the air station and were not in a restriction of movement status.

Those who tested positive have been moved into isolation and all identified close contacts have been quarantined. Contact tracing is ongoing.

All individuals who receive positive tests results will remain in isolation status until classified as recovered in accordance with Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery guidance.
