Within the last 24 hours, one (1) individual at MCAS Iwakuni has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was retested due to an inconclusive result as part of a large-scale testing initiative for those in proximity to previously identified positive cases. No other retests are required at this time. This individual has been in a restriction of movement status since Nov. 9. 

All identified close contacts have been quarantined. Large-scale testing of those in proximity to the positive cases announced on Nov. 9 and 10 is complete and all results have been reported. 

On-base medical authorities will continue to provide information to off-base health authorities concerning relevant contact trace findings.

All individuals who receive positive tests results will remain in isolation status until classified as recovered in accordance with Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery guidance.
