Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni is honored to invite you to share the goodwill of the holiday season. The 2024 Christmas Tree Lighting will be held here on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 04:30 p.m. MCAS Iwakuni will open our gates again this year to mark the beginning of the holiday season with our host nation community.

Interested media should sign up by sending an email to MCAS Iwakuni Communication Strategy and Operations (iwakuni.commstrat@usmc.mil) by noon, Monday, 25 November. Please include your full name, media agency, cell phone number, current address, date of birth, your current age, nationality, I.D. number of either Japanese driver’s license or passport. Follow-up phone call is strongly encouraged for confirmation of the registration. Approved media representatives will be informed of base entry process. Official information and the opportunity for overhead photography will only be provided to pre-registered media representatives.
