MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan -- Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 224 arrived here Nov. 1 from Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S. C., as part of the Unit Deployment Program.

Lt. Col. Peter L. McArdle commands the "Fighting Bengals" which consists of approximately 200 Marines and approximately 10 F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.

The Fighting Bengals replaced Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232, which returned to MCAS Miramar, Calif.
