Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni recently conducted its monthly Community Relations (ComRel) meeting here Sep 26. During the meeting, units and activities aboard the air station reviewed ComRel events conducted during the previous month and provided information on ComRel events scheduled for the upcoming month.

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni leadership and service members value the relationship we share with our Japanese hosts. The attached lists are provided to increase awareness of our ongoing efforts towards community service, cultural awareness and friendship exchange. We are pleased to announce that we are on track to conduct more than 365 events this year – that’s an average of more than one event every day.

Events provided for the upcoming month are tentative and are subject to change. Requests by media representatives to cover specific events are encouraged and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
