The publicly accessible Community Relations Calendar provides timely and helpful information to intrigue external media about future events the press may want to cover.  It also provides increased awareness of our ongoing cultural exchange efforts in and around the Iwakuni community.

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni has one of the most robust, if not the most robust, community relations programs in the Marine Corps. The air station values the relationship it has built and shared with its Japanese hosts over the decades. The activities and events that we share with our host community, city, region, and nation, are mutually beneficial, and allow us, together, to strengthen the bond that we share as Asia-Pacific allies, security alliance partners, and common friends. 

Upcoming events posted to the Community Relations Calendar are tentative and subject to change. We will handle requests by media representatives to cover specific events or activities on a case-by-case basis.
