Christmas is just around the corner, and with the holiday season in full swing, it's time once again when the streets aboard the installation will be filled with the sounds of holiday cheer from units, families and individuals.    

In order to share the holiday seasonal event aboard the facility, MCAS Iwakuni Public Affairs Office will host a media opportunity for the Marine Corps Community Service’s Jingle Bell Jog on Friday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m.  Held annually, this popular event consists of a 1.5 kilometer fun-run, with air station's members joining together in their best Christmas costumes and units demonstrating their collective holiday spirit by doing such things as attaching jingle bells to their shoes for the run and wearing festive attire.
