MCAS Iwakuni Friendship Day 2016 Air Show, May 5, is fast approaching. MCAS Iwakuni Public Affairs Offices will host a media opportunity for representatives who wish to visit the day’s attractions and aircraft static displays prior to the gates opening at 7:00 a.m.

PAO will meet interested, pre-registered, media representatives at 5:45 a.m. at the Old Monzen Gate. Be advised not to forget to have your I.D. with you. Deadline for registration for this early morning media opportunity is May 2 at noon. Please confirm your registration by submitting a signed MCAS Iwakuni Friendship Day Media Ground Rules sheet, followed up by a phone call to confirm receipt. A signed Media Ground Rules sheet must be attached for each person attending.

If you wish to join Friendship Day later in the day, please check-in at the media tent, referenced in the attachment, upon arriving. Upon your visit to the media tent, we will issue you a media badge, as well as provide you the most updated event information and coverage privileges. For accountability purposes, please de-register at the media tent and turn in your badge prior to departing the air station.
