MCAS Iwakuni Commanding Officer is scheduled to relinquish command during a change-of-command ceremony held aboard the air station.

Col. Robert V. Boucher will relinquish command of MCAS Iwakuni to Col. Richard F. Fuerst at 10 a.m., July 22, during a ceremony at the main parade deck.

The ceremony is scheduled to last approximately one hour.  Media interested in covering the event should contact the Public Affairs Office by sending an email to iwakuni.pao@usmc.mil by no later than noon on Tuesday, July 19.  Please include in the email: full name, media agency, job title, current address, date of birth and a cell phone number of each media member attending.  Registered media will receive meeting time and location information prior to the event.
