The Kintai Bridge, Iwakuni’s most iconic symbol, gives all those willing to pay a small fee the chance to walk across its::r::::n::ancient design. The original bridge was finished Oct. 1, 1673. Both comedians brought their own distinctive style of rauncous::r::::n::humor to the crowd. The mess hall shut down for renovations Dec. 26, 2010, requiring patrons to attend the northside Mess Hall for evening meals during Mondays through Fridays and all meals on the weekends. Some of the renovations which took place included a larger seating area, increasing the overall capacity of the dining facility from 250 to 350. - R. G.
