2-a) who possess a CAC without overseas endorsement upon arrival
⇒ your valid CAC card and DoD issued order to access Base until your CAC has overseas endorsement

2-b) who do not possess a CAC
They will be issued Temporary DBIDS (paper) pass, valid for 1 week while awaiting issuance of their CAC with overseas endorsement  (They are not allowed to work on Base without CAC with overseas endorsement or temporary DBIDS pass).

CAC and SPOT LOA assigning the contractor to MCAS Iwakuni

     Following information required; contract number, company name, address, and the commencement 
     and expiration date of the contract.

d) Synchronized Personnel Operational Tracker (SPOT LOA)

Request access for multiple days or long term (If it's only one day access, see JSG's page).

Sponsor must submit one of above request prior to the arrival of new employee/contractor. 

1. Upon arrival at MCAS Iwakuni, at the Main gate visitor’s center, guest(s) will be required to verify their identity by providing their passport and orders. 

2. Once their identity has been verified, they will be issued their temporary DBIDS pass (valid for 24 hours) to the PMO P&R Office to reveive thier DBIDS pass

3. If their arrival day will be After-hours/Weekend, they will be able to receive temporary DBIDS paper pass (valid for 96hours) at the Main gate. They have to visit PMO P&R Office with their sponsor in business hours to receive DBIDS pass.  

Note*** For Non-SOFA contractor personnel have to access from North Gate.
